In addition to traditional casino games, the casino also boasts a race and sportsbook. It first opened its doors in 2008, and is made up of an 82,000 square foot casino space. The gaming facility is situated just 15 miles from the strip, and just a half hour drive from McCarran Airport. The facility was purchased for $380 million, along with its holding company, ALST Casino Holdco. Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa, located in northern Las Vegas, has been officially acquired by Boyd Gaming, American gaming and hospitality company, based in Paradise, Nevada.
